Why now matters

The reading window is open right now. Children who miss a structured phonics foundation in early years often carry that gap into Grade 3, 4, and beyond, where it becomes harder to close. One lesson a day is all it takes to build it properly.

Child and parent with books, reading together at home

Does this sound familiar?

  • • My child knows the alphabet but cannot read words yet
  • • They can speak English but struggle to read simple sentences
  • • Their school is English-medium but reading at home is still a struggle
  • • Tutoring has not fixed the foundation
  • • I do not know where to start

If this feels familiar, your child does not need pressure. They need the right foundation. The literacy program in the app builds it one step at a time.

One Clear Path. Four Milestones. 243 Lessons.

Every child starts at Level 1 and builds upward. No skipping. No shortcuts. Structured progress, all inside the AptyRead app.

Why AptyRead English Literacy Program Is Different

How we teach reading. The same approach applies across all four levels.

English Immersion

Reading is taught through English sounds, helping reduce mother-tongue reading interference.

SATPIN Logic

Children learn useful early reading sounds first instead of random alphabet order.

Sound to Letter Flow

Children learn sound first, then letter mapping for clearer early decoding.

International English Pronunciation

Clear, consistent models help children learn a neutral international English sound. That supports school, exams, and reading aloud.

Correct Letter Formation

Children learn where to start and how to form each letter correctly from the beginning.

Total Literacy Path

One connected course from first sounds to chapter books. Not isolated games or random worksheets.

Digital Wellness

Default pacing is one new lesson per day, and parents can raise it to a maximum of two. This supports healthy screen habits, better retention, and a routine that fits family life.

Structured Confidence

Clear progression helps children learn without confusion and grow reading confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

My child's home language isn't English. Will this work?

Yes. The AptyRead English Literacy Program is built for children who speak another language at home. It teaches English reading from sounds to words to connected text, step by step, entirely through English, inside the AptyRead app.

My child already has a tutor. Why are they still struggling?

Many tutors focus on homework support and school exam preparation, not on building a core reading foundation. The program focuses on a foundational phonics sequence and reading progression you can practise anytime in the app.

Which level should my child start at?

Always Level 1. Every child starts there so no foundational gap is missed.

How much time should we spend daily?

By default, children do one new lesson per day. Parents can increase to up to two when appropriate. Core lessons are around 25 minutes and review activities are around 10 minutes. Daily consistency matters more than the length of each session.

Can parents and children use this without much tech knowledge?

Yes. You install the AptyRead app from Google Play, open a lesson, and follow the on-screen steps. Tapping play, listening, and simple taps are enough. No complicated setup.

Is an internet connection required?

You need internet to download the app and to load lessons. A stable connection while your child learns works best, especially for audio and speech features.

What happens after the 4 free lessons?

You can continue with Level 1 of the AptyRead English Literacy Program at AED 299 for 6 months validity. One payment per level. No subscriptions. Google Play handles payment in your local currency.

Is this just another app with games and distractions?

No. It is a structured literacy course, not a collection of random games. No ads. Every lesson has a clear place in the sequence.

My child is 8 or 9 years old. Is it too late?

Not at all. Older children can still build strong reading foundations. Many move quickly once the right sequence is in place.

How long does the full program take?

With regular one-lesson-per-day practice, many families complete the full journey in about 12–18 months. Pace varies by child.
