AptYou Services Pvt Ltd ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AptyRead mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address or phone number for authentication purposes (via Google OAuth or Phone OTP through Firebase).
• Child's Learning Progress: We store information about lesson completion, scores, and learning progress to provide personalized education.
• Audio Recordings: When your child practices pronunciation, audio recordings may be temporarily processed using Google Speech-to-Text API for feedback purposes. These recordings are not permanently stored.
• Payment Information: When you purchase learning levels, payment information is processed through secure third-party payment processors. We do not store credit card information.
• Device Information: We may collect basic device information for app functionality and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the AptyRead educational service
• Authenticate users and secure accounts
• Track learning progress and provide personalized lessons
• Process payments for level purchases
• Provide pronunciation feedback through speech recognition
• Improve our app and educational content
• Communicate with you about your account and our services

3. Children's Privacy

AptyRead is designed for children ages 4-10. We are committed to protecting children's privacy:

8. International Users

AptyRead is primarily designed for users in India and GCC countries. If you access our app from other regions, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in India, where our servers are located.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications.
